Here's the thing about Coldplay. I don't want to like Coldplay. I would like to deem them as elevated muzak. Some people would deem it "uncool" to like them. But I may or may not have 5 or 6 Coldplay songs on my iPod. I mean these guys are undeniable. They are one of the most consistent acts in music today. And just when you try to write them off they come out with a song that takes you to a magical place. A song that makes you want to go to a beach at sunset in white linen clothing let the wind blow through your hair fling your arms out Scott Stapp style and sing then afterwards eat something organic and smoke a hookah. Or maybe that's just me. Damn you Coldplay, you win again.
